T-bone or Porterhouse, decisions decisions. Well, what's the difference? They are both cut from the short loin and feature the "T" shaped bone in the middle with one side the NY Strip and the other the Filet.
However, the T-bone is cut from the FRONT of the loin and the Porterhouse is cut towards the REAR of the loin. Okay, so..
The rear includes more Filet which means the Porterhouse is typically going to be bigger. For us, the T-bone is the perfect one man steak. Just enough to fill you up without any complaints!
