Oh the great steakhouses of New York City. Thank you for creating the buzz around this steak, because I do love it!
BUT, what many people don't know is the Porterhouse and T-bone both have the NY Strip attached. Yep, the NY strip is just taken off the "T" in the T-bone and the Porterhouse steaks.
We typically keep them attached, because sometimes one steak (either the T-bone or Porterhouse) feeds two! One strip for the husband and one filet for the wife.
Although, enjoying just the strip (without any sharing) is always a plus!
